The suggestions that were given by alumni and the college faculty members included introduction of various master degree programmes in architecture, urban design, landscape design, lighting design, interior design and building construction. At present the college offers five-year graduate degree programmes.

A call for estabilishing specialised laboratories for fundamental and applied research including lighting lab, climatology lab, acoustic lab and cost effective materials lab was made for the coming batches. Apart from establishing these facilities, the already present infrastructure was also suggested to be expanded. This includes consultancy cell, research cell, placement cell and computer lab.
