However, the BJP candidate from the ward, Saurabh Joshi, stated that till now he had not opened any election office.

While Congress candidate Davinder Singh Babla alleged that Joshi had opened the election office in the shops of the temple, Joshi said that the Opposition was playing mischief. Babla said, “This is a blatant violation. How can they run an election office on the temple premises? The BJP was managing all its operations from this place.”

However, Joshi said, “This is not my office. Some supporters might be sitting there. In fact, I haven’t opened any office till now. The Opposition is playing mischief.”
