After figuring among the four BJP MLAs shortlisted for cabinet berths by the party high command on Monday,MLA from Amritsar North,Anil Joshi, said he will replicate his agenda of development across the state.

“As an MLA in my previous tenure,I focused on the overall development of Amritsar and brought maximum funds for the holy city as compared by the rest of the MLAs for their constituencies. Now,I will replicate my Amritsar development agenda across Punjab,” Joshi told The Indian Express.

Joshi, who has been elected as MLA for the second consecutive term, said that he will bring in reforms in the ministry he will be allocated. “As of now,I have no idea about the portfolio I would be given, but I will introduce reforms in whatever ministry is given to me,” he said.

Claiming that he will continue to work to make Amritsar a more beautiful place,he added: “I will also make efforts for the revival of the industry in the region.”
