BJP announces state election committee in run-up to polls

Vijay Sampla, Punjab BJP president, on Wednesday announced a 16-member state committee for the Assembly elections in 2017.

Punjab BJP president Vijay Sampla on Wednesday announced a 16-member state committee for the Assembly elections in 2017.
The committee comprises Sampla, state organisation general secretary Dinesh Kumar, national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna, national secretary Tarun Chugh, national executive member and former state chief Kamal Sharma, former state president Brij Lal Rinwa, former state head and MLA Manoranjan Kalia, former state chief Prof. Rajinder Bhandari, ex-president and MLA Ashwini Sharma, legislature party leader Chunni Lal Bhagat, ex-chief and cabinet minister Madan Mohan Mittal, state vice-president Harjit Singh Grewal, state general secretary Manjit Singh Rai, state general secretary Kewal Kumar, state secretary Jeevan Gupta and state secretary Vineet Joshi.
