Audi Q5 for Olympic medallists from Haryana

The Haryana government,in association with realty firm DLF,will felicitate four London Olympics medal winers - wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt,badminton player Saina Nehwal and shooter Gagan Narang - with the luxury sports utility vehicle Audi Q5s for bringing laurels to the country.

The Haryana government,in association with realty firm DLF,will felicitate four London Olympics medal winers – wrestlers Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt,badminton player Saina Nehwal and shooter Gagan Narang – with the luxury sports utility vehicle Audi Q5s for bringing laurels to the country.

Fourteen other sportspersons from Haryana who took part in the Olympics,but could not win any medal,will also be rewarded with Special Edition of Maruti Suzuki’s mid-sized sedan SX4 cars.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will present the keys of the cars at a felicitation ceremony to be organised by the state government on Sunday (August 26) at Gohana,Sonepat.

India won six medals at the Olympics this time – two silver and four bronze.

Sources disclosed that there are some other incentives and rewards as well,which are likely to be given to the Haryana sportspersons.

The state government has already awarded the Olympic participants,including seven employed with Haryana police,with cash rewards and promotions.
