UT Police has registered a case of outraging the modesty of a woman against an unknown person who had harassed a class XI student in Sector 23 on Friday. The incident took place at about 7.30 am on Friday morning when the complainant was on her way to school. “A youngster came on a bike and gave her a bag and asked her to take the bag inside the school. When the girl refused,he harassed her by pulling her dupatta,” said a police official.

Head constable hit in road mishap

The UT Police has registered a case against a woman who hit a head constable of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at noon on Friday with her tw-wheeler. The incident took place when head constable Subodh Singh was walking on a road near the Punjab and Haryana Civil Secretariat,and he was hit by the woman’s vehicle.
