The body of a newborn baby was found dumped near a garbage bin in Bapu Dham Colony on Thursday morning. According to police,the baby,born one or two days ago,was found wrapped in a cloth. It was spotted by a Safai Karamchari,who informed the police. The body had been kept at GMSH-16 and a case has been registered at the Sector 26 Police Station.
MLAs Maluka,Sharma felicitated on victory

Police personnel attend health workshop
Training on trauma and emergency life support was given to police personnel and volunteers from Chandigarh at Government Medical College & Hospital,Sector 32. This workshop comprised didactic lectures and scenario-based hands on practical training on first aid,trauma and emergency life support under the guidance of Raj Bahadur,Director Principal,GMCH-32 and comprehensive emergency life support team including Dr Manpreet Singh,Dr Lakesh Kumar Anand,Dr Dheeraj Kapoor,Rajeev Sharma and Dr Rohit Jindal.
