2 incidents of thefts reported

Thieves struck at a house in Sector 38 West and decamped with jewellery and electronic equipments worth lakhs on Wednesday. The complainant Inder Pal Singh reported that some one had stolen jewellery,a laptop,a video camera and a digital camera and Rs 10,000 in cash from his residence on Wednesday. Police have registered a case at the Sector 39 police station.

In a separate case,Abhishek Gupta,a resident of Industrial Area alleged that Sector 31 residents Rohit and Deepak,Rahul alias Mogli,a resident of Hallo Majra,stole away 200 kg of brass from a plot on Wednesday. All the accused have been arrested in this case.

In a separate incident,Nitin Malhotra,a Sector 11 resident,alleged that his driver Balwinder Singh,a resident of Patiala,ran away along with his car from Panjab University,Sector 25,on Wednesday. Police have registered a case at the Sector 11 police station in this regard.
