Former municipal councilor Anil Dubey met had met Brar on Wednesday to seek a probe in the matter.

Deputy director (School education) Chanchal Singh visited the school Thursday. He met the village sarpanch and some residents of the village. The school principal was on leave, sources said.

Sarpanch Thakur Kartar Singh told the deputy director that such incidents had been routine affairs as the school authorities do not pay required attention to maintain discipline. Aryan, who is under treatment at Government Hospital in Sector 32, has suffered fracture on both legs.

Chanchal Singh said a committee had been formed under the leadership of the DEO to look into the matter and submit a report.

Meanwhile, parents said that if the action was not taken against all concerned, they would organise a protest in front of the school.
