Chandigarh: Court furnishes supplementary challan to accused in Graft case

The DSP had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 70 lakh to let go the complainant in a property dispute case.

CBI Special Court Tuesday supplied the copy of supplementary challan to the all accused in the alleged graft case against DSP RC Meena. Text messages exchanged between advocate Bunny Takkar with Sanjay Dahuja, Aman Grover and DSP Meena and messages exchanged between Sub-Inspector (SI) Surinder Kumar with Sanjay Dahuja have been placed on record. The DSP had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 70 lakh to let go the complainant in a property dispute case. The matter is now adjourned to October 1.

Other than SI Surinder Kumar, businessman Sanjay Dahuja, owner of Berkeley Automobiles and Aman Grover, owner of KLG Hotel are also facing trial in the case. On the last hearing, the CBI Special Court had asked the investigating agency to supply the supplementary challan. The CBI also added another witness in supplementary challan.
