Sending out a clear message to women on how to fight back, a young woman in Bangalore chased and kicked a man who allegedly molested her in a park.

A video footage showing Veena Ashiya Chindlur chasing her attacker, making him kneel as she kicked him, made her a hero as she fought back her assaulter.

According to reports, Veena was on her daily run when 30-year-old Suryaprakash started harassing her by making weird noises and gestures.

However, instead of ignoring the harassment, she ran after her molester and nabbed him while he tried to escape covering his face. Veena caught him and made him kneel on the ground and then kicked him.

As Veena acted bravely against her attacker, her friend shot the video and posted it on Facebook.

Such hooligans standing on street corners and eve teasing women are disgrace towards decent men .. most of such men are cowards, when confronted act like sissy's and bolt on being confronted.

looks like a setup,as the video is shot way in front of the teaser.the guy looks decent and educated.we can only speculate as to what actually is natural both in human and animal kingdom for males to try attract female attention.he was making noises and gestures according to the report.decent girls ignore or make it clear she is not interested, not take law in their hands chase and kick in the is disturbing and unfeminine behavior.i am sure decent girls are not impressed by this and will not emulate this female in a similar situation.

Doesn't mean anything. He did not touch her physically did he??? Also she just was brave..because she was with a friend. The man left peacefully as he knew he was on camera. That doesn't happen most of the time.

now imagine a situationa girl stole something from guyinstead of police complaint he starts slapping her in publicwhatever be the reason, promoting violence and that too so openly in newspaper is wrong.if that solves everything, kill every murderer openly on street by shooting so as to set an example to others.that will take india forward and stop rapes i guesswhen we talk of equality of gender, then why inequality in punishment,i think that girl should be charged too.
