Ruing poor health facilities in the country, international working president of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Pravin Togadia Sunday launched the Gujarat chapter of VHP’s medical helpline India Health Line (18602333666).
Togadia said this medical helpline will cater to all people, irrespective of their religion. More share of India’s GDP should be allotted for health sector, Togadia added.
According to him, around 6,000 specialised doctors across the country and around 500 in Gujarat have got themselves registered with IHL. If a patient calls up the helpline, IHL workers will help him/her get an appointment with a specialised doctor registered with it, he said, adding that the consulation will be provided free of cost.
