Theft at mayor’s residence

The incident took place between 3.30 and 5.30 pm on Tuesday,but a complaint was lodged by Boliya’s son only on Thursday night.

Thieves struck at mayor Raksha Boliya’s house and allegedly decamped with valuables worth Rs 27,000,police said on Friday. According to Bhaktinagar police,thieves stole a purse,containing Rs 15,000 in cash and a mobile phone,worth Rs 12,000,through an open window. The incident took place between 3.30 and 5.30 pm on Tuesday,but a complaint was lodged by Boliya’s son only on Thursday night.
