Politicians,bureaucrats and academicians of the country will discuss and debate on the role of youth in socio-political changes at a three-day national-level conference that will begin here on Thursday.
Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy,Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Spokesperson Ram Madhav,Rajaya Sabha member and senior journalist Chandan Mitra and Team Anna member Bhaiyyuji Maharaj will remain present in the meet.
Besides,Subhash Kashyap,former secretary general of Lok Sabha,Prof Devi Singh,director of IIM,Lucknow,MSU V-C Prof Yogesh Singh and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University V-C Manoj Soni will also present their views. Vadodara MP Balkrishan Shukla will also speak at the conference.
The meet is being organised by the MS University of Baroada,Vadodara,with the help of Samanvaya,a city-based NGO.
While Swamy will address the meet on the opening day,Chandan Mitra,Ram Madhav and Prof Devi Singh will present their views on Friday. Bhaiyyuji Maharaj will address the valedictory session of the conference on Saturday.
When we ask people about politics,we hear always negative views about it. The conference is aimed at finding solution to the negative perception of politics, Jigar Inamdar,MSU senate member and coordinator of the conference told The Indian Express on Tuesday.
In between discussion,students and teachers will present 15 research papers at the conference. The meet will be held at CC Mehta Auditorium on the MSU campus.
