Police had arrested the listed bootleggers, but currently they all are out on bail. The nine listed bootleggers are Ashwin Chaudhary, Ajay Chaudhary, Nilesh Chaudhary, Raju Sharma, Arjun Shrivastav, Pinabhai Gamit, Jayesh Chaudhary, Vimal Shah and Mansingh Vasawa.
Talking to The Indian Express, Shamsher Singh said, “We have posted names and photographs of listed bootleggers on Facebook, so that people can come to know that they are bootleggers. If these people are found again involved in such prohibition activities, public can inform us. The liquor trade is prohibited in Gujarat and we are working effectively to stop such illegal trade and we also need help from public to give us tip off.”
