The state Congress will begin distributing application forms for 100-square yard residential plots for landless and poor people in rural areas from September 15 as a part of its rural housing scheme if it comes to power in December 2012 Assembly elections.

The state Congress will begin distributing application forms for 100-square yard residential plots for landless and poor people in rural areas from September 15 as a part of its rural housing scheme if it comes to power in December 2012 Assembly elections.

The decision was taken at a party meeting on Tuesday.

The forms,according to a statement issued by state Congress spokesperson Jayantilal Parmar,will be distributed at party’s mahila sammelans in villages. The filled up forms,with identity proofs,will be collected on October 2,the Gandhi Jayanti.
