A 12-year-old boy, said to be a Pakistani national, was found dead on the India-Pakistan international border in Bhuj Saturday morning. After several rounds of meetings with the Indian security officials, the Pakistan rangers refused to take the body which was found closer to Pakistani side.
The Border Security Force officials spotted the body lying close to Pakistan side of the border.
The officials said that primary reports have confirmed that he is from Hindu community who might have strayed the international border.
Officials said that the reason behind the death is not yet known and no injury marks have been found on the body.
“We spotted the body, wearing kurta-pyjama at around 6:30 am near a culvert (Pakistan side of border security fence),” officials said.
They said that the Pakistani rangers were informed but after checking the body they refused to identify him. Sources said that there were at least three meetings with Pak rangers who eventually refused to own the body,” BSF officials said.
