N K Amin’s advocate arrested

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested Jagdish Ramani,the advocate of encounter policeman N K Amin.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested Jagdish Ramani,the advocate of encounter policeman N K Amin,who has been arrested in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Ishrat Jahan fake encounter cases,for allegedly aiding policemen and businessmen in Vadodara in the six-year-old fake drug trafficking case of builder Prakash Pillai. Ramani was arrested from his office in Vadodara while two former policemen – retired police superintendent Jitendra Rajgaur and retired deputy SP Bhagirath Sinh – were arrested from Gandhinagar during investigations on Thursday.

DIG (CID) R J Savani said,“Ramani was arrested from his office in Vadodara when he came to work there by a CID team while two former policemen were arrested from Gandhinagar during the process of investigation.” Ramani had earlier alleged that he was being targeted by the police as he holds vital information and sensational information about Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case and other sensitive cases he has been handling.
