IIMA board meets to discuss short-listing of names for top post

The board of governors of the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad met on Saturday to discuss the process for short-listing the new director from among the many applications it has received for the post,persons present at the meeting said.

The board of governors of the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad met on Saturday to discuss the process for short-listing the new director from among the many applications it has received for the post,persons present at the meeting said. The board,however,apparently did not discuss the applications that have been received by the committee.

Some have said between 60 to 70 people from both India and abroad,including a handful of faculty from inside the institute itself and some from other IIMs,have applied for the position that would put them on top of what is considered India’s top B-school.
