HC stays probe against Radadiya sons

The Gujarat High Court (HC) on Tuesday stayed investigation of a criminal complaint of cheating registered against two sons of former Congress stalwart Vitthal Radadiya,who recently joined the BJP.

The Gujarat High Court (HC) on Tuesday stayed investigation of a criminal complaint of cheating registered against two sons of former Congress stalwart Vitthal Radadiya,who recently joined the BJP. The two Radadiyas have been identified as Jayesh and Lalit. Jayesh was also with Congress and had joined the BJP along with his father after the Assembly elections. The complaint was registered by one Dinesh Kakadia on May 22 against the two Radadiya brothers and two others in connection with a residential plot scheme at Kamrej in Surat district where they are organisers. The accused have moved a petition to quash the complaint before HC. Staying investigation of the case,HC has kept further hearing on June 3.

Online complaint redressal system for women staff,commuters

The GSRTC has developed an online complaint redressal mechanism for women employees and travellers. The service waiting to be inaugurated is said to be on the lines of online complaint system “swagat” offered by Chief Minister Narendra Modi. It is called “pravasi online complaint centre”. As per the records maintained by GSRTC,nearly 6 lakh women passengers commute daily by state corporation buses. Also,recently,in a mass recruitment drive,181 women conductors were hired by the transport corporation.
