A major fire broke out at Sudama Estate on Narol-Sarkhej highway near Wilson Hotel in Ahmedabad on Thursday morning. Ahmedabad fire brigade rushed 21 fire fighters to the spot to control the fire. The fire, which was reported at 6 am, was brought under control at 3 pm.

The loss is estimated to be of Rs 4.7 crore, according to fire brigade officials, who are yet to ascertain the reason for the fire. In all, four industrial units were up in flames after a paint manufacturing unit caught fire, they said.
