Gujarat University Vice-Chancellor Parimal Trivedi has urged the Police Commissioner S K Saikia to take steps so that the sale of fake question papers being done at photostat centres and other places around the university during examinations can be prevented.

In a letter sent to the city police chief,Parimal Trivedi said that gullible students become victims of such elements who collect lot of money from them by selling them fake question papers.

This activity harms the students who not only lose money but also fail to perform well in the examination papers.
