GSHSEB plans diagnostic test drive for students

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is conducting a two-day diagnostic test drive for some selected students of Class III,V,VII and IX on February 28 and 29 across the state.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) is conducting a two-day diagnostic test drive for some selected students of Class III,V,VII and IX on February 28 and 29 across the state.

Sources in the board said the students would be tested about how much they had grasped the concept of the subjects in their previous year.

The purpose of the tests is to assess the actual knowledge of the students and then initiate measures to improve the level of weak students.

While students of Class III and V will be tested for three subjects — Gujarati language,Maths and Environment — those of Class VII and IX in five subjects of Gujarati language,English,Mathematics,Social Sciences and Science & Technology. As many as 1,000 students would undergo the tests in each district.
