FICCI will now take ‘India Show’ to Dubai

Following a “success” of “India Show” in Lahore,Pakistan,which concluded on February 13,the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has decided to hold more such events in countries like Dubai and Riyadh.

Following a “success” of “India Show” in Lahore,Pakistan,which concluded on February 13,the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has decided to hold more such events in countries like Dubai and Riyadh.

“We have got good response from our neighbouring countries. Now we are going to Arabian countries. We have also organised seminars in Dubai and Riyadh. Through this attempt,we are trying to find out the consumer preferences and hoping to develop a good and healthy business between the countries. Our businessmen will also get an opportunity to know the market over there,” Western Region FICCI Director Dr Vijayanti Pandit,who was present in a two-day conference on technical textiles in Surat,said on Wednesday.

The first two-day exhibition will start from April 22 in Riyadh and a one-day exhibition in Dubai will be held on April 25. Around 30 diamond manufacturers from Gujarat,Maharashtra,Delhi will participate in this event. “We are also planning to take the gem and jewellery businessmen to Vicenza city in Italy,” he said.
