The Darpana Academy of Performing Arts is organising a festival of Non-Violence through Arts between January 30 and February 3 with reading and dance performances at Natarani.

Lamps on Lilypad to be featured on January 30 at 8.30 pm is a contemporary inter-cultural performance of Kathak dance,Hindustani music,poetry and story-telling”that was conceptualised by Jaysi in the wake of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.

On January 31,also at 8.30 pm,is a reading performance in Hindi by Dinkar Joshi called Chakra thi Charkha Sudhi on Krishna and Gandhi.

The remaining three days,all at 8.30 pm, will see a solo dance performance in English by Mallika Sarabhai called Sva Kranti — The Revolution Within.
