Many students got confused following mistakes in two examination notices by M S University’s Faculty of Performing Arts.

The notice for annual examinations of first and second year Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) starts with the announcement that forms for the examination would be available from March 7. However, the third paragraph states that March 3 is the last date of submitting duly filled up forms and warns that fine would imposed for late submissions.

When inquired, the office clarified that it had started issuing forms from February 21 and March 3 would be the last date to file the forms.

Surprisingly, the examination notice for the final year BPA and MPA,which was put on the notice on February 5,was also fraught with similar errors. It read that forms would be available from February 21,but the last date of submitting them would be February 18. However, the correct dates were February 7 and February 18 respectively. Both the notices were still on general notice board till Wednesday afternoon.

Dean of the Faculty Ishwarchandra Pandit admitted the error and said they had not charged any penalty. The administrative office of the Faculty said it had issued a corrected version.
