A tempo loaded with cows and calves was intercepted by locals reportedly led to chaos at Chamunda Bridge area of Ahmedabad Tuesday when the alleged butchers got into a scuffle with the people and police.

The locals intercepted the tempo coming from the bridge. When a police team reached the spot to rescue the animals,the alleged fight broke out.

Seven cows and four calves were rescued from the tempo. The driver of the tempo was detained and the police made a note of the incident.
