Copper wires stolen from Ford plant site

Unidentified miscreants have stolen copper wires worth Rs 63.46 lakh from automobile giant Ford’s under-construction plant at Sanand.

Unidentified miscreants have stolen copper wires worth Rs 63.46 lakh from automobile giant Ford’s under-construction plant at Sanand. According to Sanand police,a project manager,identified as Jun Park,reported the missing wires on Friday and lodged an FIR. Two incidents of theft are said to have taken place on May 1 and June 9. Police are preparing a list of the people who have visited the site between the period. Company officials realised the theft during a stocktaking exercise at the site a few days ago.
