Chief Minister Narendra Modi will launch audio and Braille edition of a children’s monthly magazine on Wednesday.

The Braille and audio version of Bal Shrusti,a monthly magazine for children published by Gujarat Rajya Shala Pathya Pustak Mandal,has been prepared by Blind Peoples’ Association (BPA),a statement from BPA said here.

Modi is going to launch Braille as well as the audio edition on Wednesday,it said.

Every year January 4 is celebrated as ‘Louis Braille Day’ to commemorate the birth anniversary of Louis Braille,inventor of the braille script.

As part of the day celebrations,a visually impaired person shall be reading Gujarati News Bulletin on Doordarshan at 7 pm on Wednesday.

While another blind person will read the regional news broadcast at 7.10 pm on AIR,Ahmedabad on Wednesday ,a statement said.
