CM inaugurates 300-bed hospital in Ahmedabad

Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 300-bed Narayana Hrudayalaya multi-speciality hospital in Ahmedabad’s Rakhiyal neighbourhood on Thursday.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 300-bed Narayana Hrudayalaya multi-speciality hospital in Ahmedabad’s Rakhiyal neighbourhood on Thursday.

Dr Devi Shetty,the hospital’s chairman,said it would charge only Rs 10 for OPD services and would also set up a medical college in the campus with 2,000 seats for candidates from rural Gujarat.

Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar Shaw,who is the hospital’s director,was also present at the inauguration.
