Ahmedabad: 28-year-old woman dies of dengue

The deceased, a resident of Naroda, died at a private hospital. On July 23, she was first admitted to Naroda’s private hospital.

A 28-year-old woman died of dengue in Ahmedabad on Thursday. This is the first death from Ahmedabad due to dengue this season. The deceased, a resident of Naroda, died at a private hospital. On July 23, she was first admitted to Naroda’s private hospital. On July 25, she was shifted to another private hospital in Sabarmati area.

Finally, on July 27, she was shifted to Sterling hospital where she succumbed to dengue late on Thursday. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) medical officer Dr Bhavin Solanki said that she had a prior dengue history. “Within this month, she travelled to Nagpur and Bihar. Also, as per family members, she was detected with dengue a few years back also.”
