Reliance Industries’ Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani kept his annual salary capped at Rs 15 crore for the ninth year on the trot and did not even take stock options that were given to other board directors. Ambani, the richest Indian, has kept salary, perquisites and allowances and commission at Rs 15 crore since 2008-09, forgoing almost Rs 24 crore per annum.

“The chairman and managing director’s compensation has been set at Rs 15 crore as against Rs 38.75 crore as approved, reflecting his desire to continue to set a personal example for moderation in managerial compensation levels,” RIL said in its annual report for 2016-17.

Elon Musk has exploited Indian Army with Space X and Tesla companies. It is a disgrace to India and Indian Military that Elon Musk has blatantly exploited Indian Army. PM Modi must take up this issue of Intellectual Property with US President Trump and either shut down Space X and Tesla or negotiate an agreement. At the end of World War 2, the largest standing army on Earth was Indian Army. India celebrates Republic day not so to be blatantly exploited by Elon Musk.

All CEO and top management worldwide should follow the path to contain the trend of high packages to a few resulting in layoffs of the lower staff. Kudo's to Mr.Mukesh Ambani and others who do it voluntarily.
