The New Moto G
Motorola is back with its all new Moto X and Moto G smartphones along with its Android Wear powered Moto 360 smartwatch in India. The Moto G (2nd Gen) 16 GB will be available only at Flipkart, while the Moto X and Moto 360 will be available later this month. The Moto G (2nd Gen) has a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display at 294 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, features an 8 MP rear snapper along with a 2 MP front camera which shoot 720p HD videos. It also has a 2070 mAh battery. Running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS, the smartphone houses a 1.2 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
Microsoft Devices launched the Nokia X2 at a price of Rs 8,699 in India to compete more aggressively with the likes of Samsung as well as homegrown firms like Micromax. With a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor on-board, the dual SIM handset runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and sports 4.3-inch ClearBlack display, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear and VGA front camera and 1,800 mAh battery. Besides supporting Microsoft apps like Skype and Outlook, the handset will offer 15GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive. Nokia X2 is representative of the evolution of the Nokia X family.
Dubai-based Tupelo has launched its Mymo fitness tracker in India. While the market is mostly offering fitness trackers in the form of smartwatches or wrist bands, Tupelo’s Mymo is a coin-sized device that can be clipped on to your shirt, trouser pockets or belt. It tracks the user’s steps, distance and calories wirelessly and can record data for up to 35 days within which users will have to sync with the TupeloLife iOS or Android app to save the data. Mymo is powered by ordinary watch batteries and claims to provide six months of battery life.

iBall has launched its Slide 3G Q7271-IPS 20 tablet at a price of Rs 9,699. The IPS 20 model comes with a 1.3GHz quad core processor along with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory. Sporting a 7-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels, the tablet comes in a sleek metallic body design in gold colour. Running on the latest Android KitKat 4.4 OS, the tablet is powered by a 3000mAh battery. IPS 20 also integrates 2 MP rear camera with flash and supports 3G video calling. The tablet also supports dual SIM functionality.
