With Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s Union budget 2016 sparking a row, his junior – MoS Jayant Sinha – took to Twitter to clarify that the Employee’s Provident Fund scheme is ‘completely free of all taxes’ and has an ‘attractive risk-free rate’.

In a series of tweets at 1 am Thursday morning, Sinha clarified his government’s stand on the issue, saying Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will further make a statement in Parliament.
