Maruti Suzuki to recall Baleno and Dzire cars

The dealers will begin contacting car owners starting from May 31.

Automobile giant Maruti Suzuki has announced that it will recall over 75,000 Baleno and 1,900 DZire cars manufactured between August 3, 2015 and May 17, 2016.

The company is offering to update the airbag controller software and replace faulty fuel filters free of cost.

In a statement, it said that the dealers will begin contacting car owners starting from May 31. Also, the owners can themselves check if their vehicle is covered under this by visiting the company website and following some simple steps.
