Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan is a Hindi film actor. He is the son of director David Dhawan. Varun has studied Business Management from Nottingham Trent University. He has also worked as an assistant director on Karan Johar’s 2010 movie- My Name is Khan. Varun made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s romantic drama – Student of The Year co-starring Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He received Filmfare nomination for Best Male Debut for his performance. Varun later acted in successful movies including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and the dance film ABCD 2. His role in Badlapur (2015) was critically acclaimed and he also received Filmfare Nomination for Best Actor award. Besides acting, Varun hosts and performs at award functions.
