Smriti Irani was one of the thousands of people who came together to perform yoga at Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur, led by Art of Living Foundation founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The function was presided over by Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living society who was accompanied by Union Minister Smriti Irani and former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. Braving heavy rains and inclement weather, people took part in the exercises.

The CIC had last month directed the CBSE to permit examination of textiles minister Smriti Irani’s XII records, overruling the argument that this was personal information.
The Commission rejected the argument that the information was “personal information” and thus cannot be disclosed.
The Information Commissioner rejected the contention of CBSE that the information is yet to be digitised and they will have to divert resources to dig out information form voluminous records.
