Despite being barred from release in four major Indian states, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padmaavat has earned Rs 300.26 crore in 50 days. The Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer released in India on January 25, 2018.

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat has collected Rs 7 crore on its second Monday and its collection now stands at Rs 219.50 crore.
The Bollywood film will be screened amid tight security at Inox Mall at 8 pm for the jury comprising Justice Sandeep Mehta. The hall owners have been directed to ensure only one screening for the team.
While one can’t disagree that there are multiple issues that need to be addressed about Padmaavat, the kind of devotion that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has put into making every inch of the 164 minutes a flawless frame is unparalleled. From the opening sequence itself, every scene is a sight to behold.
