An FIR for bike theft has now been registered following the murder and recovery of the bike.
The bike, a yellow CBR Stunner, was recovered from the Ludhiana-Jalandhar National Highway.
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi Wednesday condemned the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosain in Ludhiana, saying violence is unacceptable.
Ravinder Gosain, 58, was the mukhya shikshak of RSS’s Mohan Shakha for many years. He was also mandal pradhan of the local BJP unit.
The CPI(M) leader took a dig at BJP president Amit Shah, saying that he “ran away from Kerala and came back to Delhi as he had to save his son who is been accused of corruption”.

Senior RSS functionary Dattatreya Hosabale was responding to a question on the organisation’s stand on allegations of corruption against the BJP chief’s son.
RSS also hit back at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s comment that women are never seen in Sangh shakhas.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s comments on women in RSS, Vijay Rupani said, “The comments reflects Rahul Gandhi’s child-like intelligence. He reads out what somebody has written,”
The incidents come two days after a hartal was observed by CPI(M) to protest against a crude bomb attack on its workers allegedly by RSS men

“If you see the education statistics for girls, Gujarat does not feature in the top 10. This is because Modi’s words are hollow. It is in Congress nature to strengthen women and we will do it in the sector of girl’s education,” said Rahul Gandhi.
“Why aren’t women allowed in RSS? They (BJP) have so many women in the party, but I have not seen a single woman in RSS. What mistake have they made?”
