Raj Babbar said, ‘The misdeeds of the BJP-led government at the Centre would be exposed once Rahul Gandhi became the prime minister.’
Babbar added that no management school must have seen such a business model, which has become possible as while the “beneficiary’s uncle is the Prime Minister, his father is ‘mota bhai Shah’, with the key to power”.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) spokesperson said some students wanted to “forcibly” enter VC’s residence but they were stopped by the security guards of the university. Subsequently, there was stone pelting by “outsiders” who had joined the students.

“Who will decide it was death or murder? The entire focus of the government is on cow-slaughter, singing of Vande Matram, where the flag is being hoisted on August 15” Raj Babbar said. “A case of murder should be lodged against the government and those associated with it,” he added.
The NH-233, which connects Varanasi to Lumbini in Nepal, passes through Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar and Basti. Babbar said that as part of Congress’s “Haq Mango” campaign, he would continue to visit more villages and districts to raise issues of farmers.
Speaking about the party’s ongoing “Haq Maango Abhiyan” (Claim Your Rights Campaign) to fight for the right of farmers and youths in the state, Raj Babbar said that it is the task given by Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to him.
The party will also hold two panchayats in Lucknow on Monday with farmers and youths to raise their issues under the ongoing “Hak Maango Abhiyan”.
Accusing Narendra Modi government of deceiving the people on the issue of jobs for rural youth, Babbar said the ruling party had made false promises in this regard.
The march will be led by state Congress chief Raj Babbar and other senior leaders will be joining it in the later phases,

Addressing the protesting cultivators, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Raj Babbar said the Congress will fight for the welfare of farmers and they will get the appropriate compensation upto their satisfaction.
“Kashmir is an integrated part of India, and this incident is deplorable,” Babbar said.
