The report, which was tabled in the Delhi Assembly Tuesday, notes that the rate of disposal of cases filed under the POCSO Act is dismal, with the average percentage of conviction at just 2 per cent.

As per the guidelines notified in September 2013, the sessions court hearing a case registered under the POCSO Act, should have a separate waiting area for the complainant.
The offence under Section 19, read with Section 21 (2), of the POCSO Act attracts imprisonment up to one year and fine.
