Ramani took to social media to complain about the incident and said it occurred when she was waiting near the footboard along with other commuters.
“It is almost like they are waiting for an accident to happen,” said retired Justice Kanade. Emphasising that Mumbai was the financial capital, he said, “Everyday people bank on this mode of transport. What is being done for them?”
“A significant amount of mud was spotted on the tracks between Mankhurd and Gowandi stations at 8.20 am today and it was decided to halt the train services,” Central Railway’s senior PRO A K Jain said
