New Delhi, Jan 22 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Siddharth Nath Singh on Friday said West Bengal is becoming a safe haven for bomb makers under Mamata Banerjee’s leadership. New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday took a dig at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after posters praising West Bengal were seen in New Delhi on Sunday. He said that instead of pasting posters in the national capital, Trinamool Congress (TMC) should paste them in Malda or in places where communal clashes are taking place. He added that TMC should stop taking advantage of communal tensions.

Ghulam Ali felicitated in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 15 (ANI): Kerala felicitated Pakistan’s legendary maestro Ghulam Ali, two days after he performed in Kolkata. Ali was presented with an award by a socio-cultural organisation and Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and other leaders were also present. Ali will be performing in Thiruvananthapuram city on Friday and in Kozhikode on January 17. He expressed happiness on performing in Kerala during his maiden visit to the state. Indian classical singer, Pandit Vishwanath, will also perform with Ali on Friday. He was all praise for the Pakistani singer, calling him the king of ghazals. Ali, the 75-year old renowned singer, performed with his son Amir Ali in Kolkata on January 12 and was felicitated by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
