The Bombay HC granted anticipatory bail to activist Teesta Setalvad and her husband Javed Anand booked by the CBI under the FCRA for allegedly collecting foreign funds.
The allegations point towards money paid as salaries to Setalvad, her husband and daughter.
Less than a week after a bench called the allegations ‘grave’, the bail plea has now been listed before another bench.
Earlier, the court had stayed the arrest of the five till April 4.

Ajay Choksi, special public prosecutor, said that the court upheld the argument.
Teesta and her husband have been booked by the Crime Branch of Gujarat Police on the charges of cheating, breach of trust and under the IT Act.
