Divya Dutta

Divya Dutta is one of the few actors in the industry who is known to having been worked in a variety of roles in various film genres. She has been noted while playing roles in Bollywood, Punjabi. Malayalam and English cinema. As a less common fact, she has also signed some modeling assignments in Punjab before venturing into cinema. She made her Bollywood debut in the year 1994 and has been widely acclaimed for the intellectual roles that she has been playing. Some of her remarkable movies are Veer-Zaara, Welcome To Sajjanpur, Stanley Ka Dabba among others. She received the IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress for the role Jalebi in Delhi-6. After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013, she became the most sought after actress and also received an IIFA for the Best Supporting Actress. She has acted in more than 60 feature films including two international productions. She has also entered the television industry, playing the role of Purnima Banerjee in the serial Samvidhaan.
